No public business submissions
Businesses cannot create accounts, upload descriptions or publish their own listings. This avoids stale records, duplicated pages and directory spam.
A business may still be mentioned when it materially improves an editorial guide.
No user-uploaded photographs
Images are created for the site, properly licensed or used with clear permission. Photographs are not copied simply because they appear online.
This policy exists to reduce copyright and permission risk.
Outbound links must help the reader
Government, transit, library, health and municipal information should link to the responsible organization. Commercial links must have a clear contextual purpose.
The site does not change anchor text solely to help another website rank for a keyword.
Corrections are welcome; promotional submissions are not
A factual error should be corrected when identified. That is different from creating a listing or accepting a promotional backlink request.
This distinction helps the guide stay accurate without reopening public moderation.
How we handle pros and cons
Community pages may describe transportation limitations, congestion, distance, development pressure or other practical trade-offs. These observations are framed around trip planning and everyday use, not as neighbourhood rankings. Where a statement depends on current development or infrastructure, the relevant City or transit source should be checked.
Corrections and update priorities
Corrections to factual information are welcome. Time-sensitive material such as event dates, road changes and facility schedules is generally delegated to the responsible official source. Evergreen explanations such as community geography, trip sequencing and how to compare travel options are reviewed editorially.
